What We Stand For?

The Airline Pilots' Association of India aims to bring all Indian pilots under one roof. As an organization, ALPA India represents Indian pilots at the International Federation of Air Line Pilots’ Associations. The organization had become non-functional due to the difficulties faced by IPG and the non-availability of the office bearers.
The national aviator guild took over the responsibility of bringing life back to ALPA India and presented a proposal to IFALPA in 2015 at the Madrid conference to that end. The process of re-registration began after the proposal and got the go-ahead. Currently, there are approximately 600 member pilots. The fees due to IFALPA has been paid every year by ALPA India. The charges are approximately $30 per member, to be remitted in Montreal Canada.

We have members from more than 30 airlines, including Air India, Air India Express, Air Asia, Air Arabia, Akasa Air, Indigo, Vistara, Spice Jet, GoAir, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Fiji Airways, Fly-Big, Gulf Air, Korean Air, Nepal Airlines, Rwand Air, Saudia Airlies, Scoot Tiger Air, Srilankan Airlines, Star Air, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Fly Dubai, etc. They represent Indian nationals who fly for the national and international airlines. Also, represent general aviation on an individual basis. Irrespective of the pilot’s country of employment. We invite helicopter pilots of Indian nationality to be part of ALPA India. To head the rotary wing of ALPA India we are in talks with one of the distinguished helicopter pilots of the country- the former chief of air staff, air chief marshal Fali Homi Major. We also invite members of ICPA & IPG onto the managing committee for 3 three years and propose pilots from budget carriers to join the managing committee for the uninterrupted term of three years.
We emphasize video conferencing to overcome geographical limitations. From time to time, we keep on updating our website with the latest news and updates.
